The Farm Tour Is Limited to 20-25 Persons - Check Back for Registration

• 9:00–9:30 AM: Departure from UDC Campus

• 9:30–10:15 AM: The Farm at Kelly Miller (Washington, DC)

Guided site visit focused on urban regenerative practices, crop diversity, and community engagement

• 10:15–11:15 AM: Common Good City Farm (Washington, DC)

Tour highlighting food access initiatives, education programming, and cooperative urban farming models

• 11:15 AM–12:00 PM: Lunch

Brown Bag Lunch Break and Informal Discussion with Farm Hosts

• 12:00–1:00 PM: Return to UDC Campus

The selected farms are located in close proximity to UDC, minimizing transportation time while maximizing instructional value and participant engagement.

The farm tour is designed for 20–25 Seeds & Culture Conference participants and will highlight Black-led urban agriculture initiatives in Washington, DC. Emphasis is placed on accessibility, efficient use of time, and meaningful engagement with farm operators whose work reflects regenerative practices, food justice principles, and community-based food systems.
